NCSBN COVID-19 webpage has updates on NCLEX, state actions

Pandemic-related updates are now available on a dedicated COVID-19 webpage on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) website. From there, users can navigate to state nurse licensing information, revised scheduling for the NCLEX licensure exams and information on the pandemic’s impacts on nursing regulatory bodies. Together with the Nation League for Nursing, NCSBN is calling on nursing schools and programs to offer “the greatest possible flexibility” to nursing students nearing graduation. NCSBN joined with other licensing and regulatory organizations to issue a statement this week saying, “We remain committed to public health, public protection and patient safety and will continue to explore ways to support qualified healthcare professionals as they respond to this evolving national emergency.”
