HERO Registry to facilitate research on front-line worker coronavirus exposure
The Healthcare Worker Exposure Response & Outcomes (HERO) Registry seeks people working in health care settings to register to participate in clinical research studies. Both licensed professionals and other health sector workers are at risk of exposure to the coronavirus and the psychological impacts of the pandemic. The project aims to generate research to keep them and their families safe and healthy. Findings will be regularly shared with study participants. The HERO Registry is funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute Award and coordinated by the Duke Clinical Research Institute.
