To assist health care leaders in planning for the future, the American Hospital Association (AHA) has released its 2021 AHA Environmental Scan. The document reflects health care providers’ shift in strategy to address the pandemic and details data and trends that have implications for the health care field. Major themes include relief, recovery, rebuilding, reimagining, behavioral health, workforce, health equity, diversity and inclusion, and access and affordability.
