VHA releases report on COVID-19 response
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) recently released a report detailing the organization’s efforts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in the first half of 2020. An introduction to the report says it highlights strategic actions taken at all levels of the VHA, “from the front-line workers caring for veterans and members of the community to the leaders and employees who worked relentlessly to protect front-line workers and patients.” The 557-page document is intended to inform other health professionals who may be able to draw lessons from the VHA’s experience.
