NSRN offers nationwide COVID-19 support
Responding to the personnel limitations at local public health departments, hospitals and other organizations, thousands of medical, nursing and other health professions students have organized the National Student Response Network (NSRN). These students have provided support in dozens of states, and are now seeking additional opportunities to be of service. Of the 5,000 skilled health professions students of which 900 are BSN, MSN and NP students. NSRN volunteers have worked at drive-through COVID-19 testing sites and manned COVID-19 hotlines. Organizations in need of assistance can submit a task inquiry through the NSRN website or by email to be linked to nearby student volunteers.
