Project Firstline offers free IPC courses

Nurses can now access a free, comprehensive online curriculum on infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines, COVID-19 precautions and best practices through the American Nurses Association website. The courses were developed by Project Firstline, a national training collaborative sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Injection safety, multi-dose vial handling, personal protection equipment basics and how COVID-19 spreads are among the topics covered. The website also provides guides for facilitators who want to share the courses with their teams.
