Federal Funding Impact Survey Seeks Respondents

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing encourages nursing leaders to participate in an impact survey on federal nursing funding to help policymakers understand academic nursing’s priorities regarding nursing education, workforce development and research. The survey seeks responses on how Title VIII programs and the National Institute of Nursing Research funding affect nursing schools, care delivery and communities. The AACN seeks impact statements and short videos describing how federal funding is crucial to maintaining enrollment levels, recruiting faculty, providing health care services, advancing research on improving patient care and meeting other needs. Information will be shared with members of Congress and federal policymakers to amplify the need to continue programs protecting the workforce and patients in need. (Newswise news release, 2/26/25)
