AHA video highlights child COVID-19 cases

The AHA last week launched Just the Facts, a video offering a simple, but stark look the number of children getting infected, hospitalized and dying from COVID-19. The video notes that COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates in children aged 5-11 years were twice as high among unvaccinated as among vaccinated children, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The video is available in English and Spanish. The videos are part of AHA’s continuing effort to provide resources to encourage vaccine confidence. (AHA News article, 6/10/22)
