AHA releases toolkit to promote flu, COVID-19 vaccination

The American Hospital Association’s United Against the Flu Campaign this week released a social media toolkit to help hospitals and health systems encourage their communities to get vaccinated against the flu and COVID-19, including getting an updated COVID-19 booster. Last week, the Food and Drug Administration authorized emergency use of the first over-the-counter test to detect both flu and SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The Lucira COVID-19 & Flu Home test provides results in about 30 minutes from self-collected nasal swab samples.  (AHA News article, 2/23/23)
