White House hosts virtual discussion for hospital leaders

Today at 3 p.m. ET, the White House COVID-19 Response Team and the U.S. Surgeon General will host a virtual event to discuss the next phase of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout with hospital and health system leaders, primary care providers, and state and local health officials. The event will focus on how the federal government is prepared to support and engage health care providers and public health departments in expanding vaccine administration. Five separate conversations will be led by Anthony Fauci, Rochelle Walensky, Vivek Murthy, Marcella Nunez-Smith and Bechara Choucair, physicians who all play leadership roles in the administration’s COVID-19 response effort.
