Podcast explores how to prioritize equity at children’s hospital

Leaders at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., discuss how the hospital integrates health equity throughout its organization. In an American Hospital Association podcast, the leaders describe efforts to ensure all hospital employees incorporate health equity into their everyday work. Leaders stress to employees that all of them want to do their best work, and employees need to account for the way people are different from each other and how they treat each other based on those differences.
