Hughes authors article on workforce compendium

AONL’s Workforce Compendium is featured in the July/August issue of the Journal of Nursing Administration. Ronda Hughes, PhD, RN, AONL senior director, professional practice, describes how AONL led a nationwide strategic initiative in 2022 to obtain best practices and strategies for nurse leaders. The organization conducted two nationwide surveys to gain insights and collected practice-led initiatives, which often are not included in searchable peer-reviewed literature. AONL then organized the practices into a compendium offering practice-based evidence to support nurse leaders. The resource is available on the AONL website.
