DAISY extends award deadlines

The DAISY Foundation has extended the deadlines to nominate nurses for two of its award programs to Dec. 29 at 5:00 p.m. PT. Nurse leaders can nominate any nurse ─ not just previous DAISY award winners ─ for the 2024 American Nurses Association’s DAISY Awards for Nursing Ethics in Practice and Leadership. In addition, organizations can submit nominations of DAISY Award Nurses and DAISY Team Award Honorees who were honored between Jan. 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023, as nominees for the 10th annual DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in Patient Safety. The latter award is presented in collaboration with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
