AHA offers health equity roadmap resource

American Hospital Association (AHA) member hospitals can access the Health Equity Roadmap, a national initiative to drive improvement in health care outcomes, health equity, diversity and inclusion. In addition, the AHA shared how hospitals can support Black women’s maternal mental health journey. AHA’s Vice President of Strategic Initiatives Priya Bathija shared takeaways of a conversation she had on improving digital health equity and access with Alisahah Jackson, MD, Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health’s system vice president of population health innovation and policy, and Christina Yarrington, MD, director of labor and delivery and the division director for maternal fetal medicine at Boston Medical Center.
