Survey assesses COVID-19 impact on nursing
Findings of a survey by commissioned by AONL, the American Nurses Association and Johnson & Johnson reveal the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in some progress within the profession, despite posing enormous challenges. Notably, nurses who spent more than half their time with COVID-19 patients reported being satisfied with opportunities to work on collaborative interprofessional teams. Half of such nurses also found more opportunities for leadership and professional advancement than their counterparts who spent less than half their time engaged with COVID-19 patients.
