Webinar applies health equity lens to  environmental issues

Stewards of community health and environmental strategies are encouraged to take part in an interactive conversation on how hospitals are addressing the differential impact of environmental factors on the communities they serve. Jeff Thompson, MD, a pediatric intensivist and neonatologist, executive advisor, and chief executive officer emeritus at Gundersen Health System based in La Crosse, Wis., will give the keynote address. The American Hospital Association (AHA) Association for Community Health Improvement and the American Society for Health Care Engineering will host the 90-minute event.
