Swick honored with AONL Lifetime Achievement Award

Maureen Swick, PhD, RN, senior vice president and enterprise nurse executive for Atrium Health of Charlotte, N.C., will receive AONL’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s annual conference in San Antonio. Prior to joining Atrium Health in 2017, Swick was AONL CEO and senior vice president and chief nursing officer of the American Hospital Association (AHA). She previously served as a board member for AONL and the AHA, and as president of the AONL Board of Directors. Each year, the award honors an AONL member who served AONL in an important leadership capacity and is recognized as a significant leader within the nursing profession. (AONL news release, 2/17/22)
