Study finds priorities for nursing leadership research
AONL partnered with the Association for Leadership Science in Nursing to conduct a Delphi study aimed at identifying priorities for research in nursing administration and leadership science. The study’s findings, published in the January issue of the Journal of Nursing Administration, provide future directions for continuously driving research and for building and leveraging leadership science to support nursing administration decision making. Quantifying the impact of nursing service, staffing models for point-of-care services and nursing leadership development emerged as three research areas needing further study. The AONL Foundation for Nursing Leadership Research and Education funded the study.
