Pilot projects offer solutions to ‘reimagine nursing’
The American Nurses Foundation’s Reimagining Nursing Initiative announced the award of $14 million over three years to 10 nurse-led pilot programs that offer solutions to transform education, regulation and practice. Nurses at universities, hospitals and startup companies that serve diverse communities nationwide are leading the projects, which are intended to be scaled and broadly implemented. "Nurses are a natural catalytic force for accelerating the evolution of our health system because they have an unmatched perspective on prevention, wellness and delivery of health care services,” said Kate Judge, the foundation's executive director.
