NCC urges Senate to fund nursing priorities in Build Back Better Act

Fifty-seven members of the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC), including AONL, sent a letter strongly urging senators to consider nursing priorities as they work to advance policies contained within the Build Back Better Act. Those priorities include at least $500 million in support for nursing education; $500 million for the Nurse Corps, which supports scholarships and loan repayment for nurses who work in underserved areas; and major provisions of the Momnibus Act, which would strengthen and diversify the nursing workforce in support of its goal of improving maternal health outcomes.
