NCC letter highlights top legislative priorities

AONL and 61 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) signed a letter requesting Congress pass top legislative priorities affecting the nursing workforce before the end of the 117th Congress on Jan. 3, 2023. The priorities include investing in nursing education pathways, making permanent waivers enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic and supporting maternal health. The letter also urges Congress to institute safety measures for the nursing workforce and to support the mental health and healthy working environments for nurses. (NCC letter, 9/26/22)
