NASEM seeks leaders to improve public health preparedness

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) seeks candidates for the Forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Emergencies. Formed in 2007, the Forum convenes leaders to improve the nation’s preparedness for, response to and recovery from disasters, public health emergencies and emerging threats. The Forum is looking for five to seven members in the health emergencies preparedness, response, and recovery fields. Interested candidates should submit their names by Sept. 30.
