Joint Commission releases telehealth patient safety materials

The Joint Commission this week began a patient safety campaign intended to educate patients on how to navigate virtual health care entitled Speak Up At Your Telehealth Visit. The campaign includes an informational poster in English and Spanish, an animated video explaining the uses and benefits of telehealth and a distribution guide intended to help organizations determine how to disseminate the information to patients.
