House passes bill to improve access to worker compensation

The House earlier this week passed the Improving Access to Workers’ Compensation for Injured Federal Workers Act (H.R. 6087). The bill would eliminate outdated barriers that limit the ability of nurse practitioners to provide care and treatment for injured or ill federal employees. The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) and AONL, an NCC member, support the legislation.
