HSR issues focuses on translating research into policy and action

A special issue of Health Services Research (HSR) focuses on how health care organizations can use implementation science — the study of strategies that promote the uptake of research into clinical practice — and community-engaged research methods to improve population health and reduce care disparities. All articles are open access. The VA Health Services Research & Development Service sponsored the special issue. HSR is the flagship journal of the American Hospital Association’s Health Research & Educational Trust and an official journal of AcademyHealth. (AHA news article, 6/16/22)
