HHS issues guidance on maternal care telehealth

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) last week released a best practice guide on telehealth for maternal health services. The guide highlights the needs and procedures for a successful maternal telehealth program to bridge care gaps for people, especially those living in rural and underserved communities. In addition, HHS and the Department of Justice last week released guidance on federal health protections for people with disabilities and limited English proficiency.
