CMS webinar examines postpartum risks

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a webinar today on improving maternal health during the postpartum period. Presenters will describe the clinical and social risks that contribute to the morbidity and mortality of postpartum individuals. The webinar also will look at how expanding the postpartum coverage period in Medicaid provided the access to care needed to mitigate these risks.
