Academy panel offers strategies addressing nurse fatigue

The causes and challenges of nurse fatigue, evidence-based strategies for addressing the problem and barriers to their implementation are the subject of a paper in the December issue of the American Journal of Nursing (AJN). Continuing education credit is available in connection with the free article, which was prepared by the Fatigue Subgroup of the Health Behavior Expert Panel of the American Academy of Nursing. Three of the authors discuss nurse fatigue in a podcast with AJN editor Shawn Kennedy.
