AONL supports probe of anti-competitive conduct by nurse staffing agencies
AONL issued an advocacy alert this week asking nurse leaders to contact their representatives in Congress regarding potentially anti-competitive behavior by nurse staffing agencies. A bipartisan letter circulating in the House cites reports of some agencies charging inflated prices for travel nurses during the pandemic. The letter urges the White House to direct federal agencies to investigate potentially anti-competitive conduct. AONL members are asked to inform their representatives of their organization’s staffing challenges and encourage them to sign on to the letter by the end of today. Members can contact their representatives from the AONL Advocacy Action Center webpage.
