AHA to host Equity of Care Award information webinar

The American Hospital Association (AHA) will hold a Sept. 8 webinar at 1:00 p.m. ET about the Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care Award. The informational overview will explain the application process and best practices hospitals should follow to achieve health equity. Participants need to register in advance. The annual award recognizes outstanding efforts among hospitals and health care systems to advance equity of care to all patients, and to spread lessons learned and progress toward diversity, inclusion and health equity.
