AHA shares digital health equity resources

Applying a health equity lens to digital health is the subject of the latest episode of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Advancing Health podcast, which features a dialogue between AHA Strategic Initiatives Senior Program Manager Julia Resnick, AHA Strategic Initiatives Vice President Priya Bathija and Sarah Swank, counsel at Nixon Peabody. The podcast is one of several digital health equity resources now available on the AHA website. Other resources include blog posts focused on education and infrastructure barriers to health equity, especially in rural communities. Digital solutions gained the spotlight during the COVID-19 pandemic and remain a critical access point for health care providers to reach patients. (AHA News article, 5/11/22)
