AHA releases 2022 Environmental Scan

To help organizations explore the pandemic’s effects on the health care landscape and their implications for the future, the American Hospital Association (AHA) released its 2022 Environmental Scan. This latest look at the health care industry includes data and insights related to financial and operational challenges; workforce shortages, resiliency and the future of work; the behavioral health needs of both patients and clinicians; care delivery modalities such as telehealth and hospital-at-home models; and health equity concerns, including digital health access. (AHA News article, 11/22/21)
