AHA holds Community Health Improvement Week

To honor those working in partnership to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities and advance health equity, the American Hospital Association (AHA) and AHA Community Health Improvement held Community Health Improvement (CHI) Week 2022 June 5-11 and released a digital toolkit. Leaders can share their CHI Week activities and resources on social media using #CHIWeek and follow @communityhlth and @ahahospitals for CHI Week updates. Tax-exempt hospitals and health systems provided more than $110 billion in community benefits in fiscal year 2019, almost nine times the value of their federal tax exemption, according to an analysis by Ernst & Young that AHA released earlier this week.
