AONL is a member of the following advocacy coalitions.
Comprised of more than 60 national nursing organizations that represent nearly one million practicing nurses, nurse executives, and nursing students, faculty and researchers. The Nursing Community is committed to improving the health and health care of our nation by collaborating to support the education and practice of Registered Nurses and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
Created in 2000, the coalition is a broad-based group of hospitals, businesses, and national, state and local hospital associations dedicated to educating the public about threats to hospital financing and how these threats affect patients and their families.
Established in 1970, the Coalition for Health Funding is the oldest and largest nonprofit alliance working to protect health investments. Member organizations together represent more than 100 million patients, health care providers, public health professionals and scientists.
