The American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) is the national organization of nurses who design, facilitate and manage care. With more than 11,500 members, AONL is the voice of nursing leadership in health care. AONL is an affiliate of the American Hospital Association.
AONL Advocacy provides important public policy information on issues relevant to nursing and health care. It informs nursing leaders on current developments in the federal arena and encourages them to take action on health and patient care issues, which impact their ability to provide safe, accessible and quality patient care services. As the country’s most trusted profession, nursing is an essential voice on health care policy issues and a vehicle for positive change.
