Nurse leaders have used ingenuity and tenacity to tackle some of the COVID-19 pandemic’s biggest challenges, and AONL has captured their stories in Leadership Beyond the Pandemic—a series of podcasts featuring discussions with nurse leaders about pandemic-era care delivery innovations with the potential to lower costs and improve quality in non-pandemic times. Johnson & Johnson recently interviewed the program’s co-creators, Deborah Zimmermann, DNP, RN, AONL board member and chair of the AONL Foundation, and Michael Bleich, PhD, RN, senior professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing, along with AONL Senior Director, Leadership Development Beverly Hancock, DNP, RN.
