Nurse leaders frame case for supporting front-line nurses

In a recent Nursing Economic$ article, editorial board member Therese Fitzpatrick, PhD, RN, talked with Nancy Valentine, PhD, RN, about ways to support front-line nurses in the current health care environment. They identified factors related to post-traumatic stress arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and framed a business case for transitioning health care organizations to a wellness orientation.
