Nearly 50% of adults intend to receive new COVID-19 vaccine
Forty-seven percent of adults say they will receive the new COVID-19 vaccine, according to Kaiser Family Foundation poll released this week. While 61% of those who previously received a COVID-19 vaccine say they will get the new vaccine, 37% of individuals in this group do not plan to get the new vaccine. In comparison, 58% of adults say they will get a flu shot this year, and 58% of adults ages 60 and older say they will either “definitely get” or “probably get” the new RSV vaccine recommended for their age group. Last week, the Biden Administration announced Americans could order for delivery four free COVID-19 tests. (Kaiser Health article, 9/27/23)
