NQF updates roadmap to amplify patient voices
The National Quality Forum this week released an updated report to assist measure developers in creating patient-reported outcome performance measures. These measures ─ which use patient feedback to evaluate health outcomes and the quality of care provided by hospitals, health plans and clinicians ─ are critical to elevating the patient’s voice in assessing health care quality. The updated report is part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services-funded initiative to enable NQF to build a roadmap to elevate patient voices and prioritize outcomes mattering most to patients.
