NINR lecture explores how nursing science can end unequal treatment

The National Institute of Nursing Research will host a webinar on the National Academy of Medicine report, Ending Unequal Treatment, and the implications for nursing science on Aug. 27 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Released in June, the report is a 20-year follow-up to the landmark 2003 Unequal Treatment report, which concluded pervasive health inequities result largely from structural and systemic racism in health care. The webinar will provide an overview of the Ending Unequal Treatment report and highlight what the findings mean for the nursing workforce’s scientific agenda in addressing the elimination of health and health care inequities. Participants should register in advance.
