NCC thanks bill sponsors of Nurse Corps Service Recognition Act

Sixty members of the Nursing Community Coalition sent letters to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., and 21 bipartisan co-sponsors, thanking them for introducing the United States Cadet Nurse Corps Service Recognition Act of 2023 (S. 1633/H.R. 3428). The bill would honor the nearly 120,000 nurses who cared for service members during World War II. AONL is one of 63 nursing organizations that comprise the NCC. (NCC letter, 6/29/23)
