NCC expresses thanks for nursing workforce center bill

In a June 12 letter, the Nursing Community Coalition thanked members of Congress for introducing the National Nursing Workforce Center Act of 2023 (H.R. 2411/S. 1150). The bipartisan legislation would help to gather additional data on the needs within the nursing workforce and of health care throughout the United States. Reps. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-Del., and Young Kim, R-Calif., introduced the bill in the House, and Senate Nursing Caucus Co-Chair, Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Sen. Thomas Tillis, R-N.C., introduced the bill in the Senate. AONL is one of 63 organizations that make up the NCC. (NCC letter, 6/12/23)
