Leadership equity award winner announced

Vicki Hines-Martin, PhD, RN, professor and dean at the University of Louisville School of Nursing Office of Community Engagement and Diversity Inclusion, recently received the Equity-Minded Leader Award for her scholarship on mental health, health equity, cultural diversity and community engaged partnerships. Sponsored by AONL, the award recognizes a catalyst for change at the system or organizational level. The inaugural equity-minded nurse award was one of five presented by the AARP Center for Health Equity through Nursing and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
