The guidance details what is currently known about COVID-19 vaccines for children under 12 and lays out assumptions for pediatric vaccination programs, which are expected to roll out later this fall. A separate report released Wednesday by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine offers advice for communicating with parents about their children’s COVID-19 vaccination, along with strategies for building public confidence in the vaccines.
