AONL signs letter supporting ICAN Act

AONL was one of 160 organizations signing a letter of support to Congressional leadership for The Improving Care and Access to Nurses (ICAN) Act (H.R. 8812). The bill would increase patient access to care by removing outdated federal barriers on services advanced practice registered nurses provide under the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) recently introduced companion legislation (S. 5212).
