AONL clarifies nurse manager educational offerings

In an interview in the August issue of Nurse Leader, AONL Education Director Elaine Perkins, MS, RN, describes AONL’s nurse manager programs. The Nurse Manager Fellowship program ─ a 12-month professional development program for nurse managers who have more than one year of experience ─ is designed to provide an in-depth learning environment and supportive community. Past participants have described it as “life-changing” or “career-changing.” Applications for the 2025 class of AONL Nurse Manager Fellowships are due by Aug. 19. Perkins also clarifies differences between AONL’s on-demand and facilitated versions of its Transition to Nurse Manager Practice program and describes its Leadership Laboratory and Nurse Manager Institute for managers who have more than one year of experience in the role.
