AONL Virtual Conference Inspires Nearly 3,000 Nurse Leaders
AONL Board Chair Mary Ann Fuchs, DNP, RN, welcomed nearly 3,000 attendees to AONL 2020, which was held virtually on Sept. 24. “We’re not strangers to navigating a crisis, but the scale and scope of COVID-19 has required our leadership like never before,” she said. Fuchs, chief nurse executive of Duke University Health System, Durham, N.C., thanked attendees for making the time to “recharge and reconnect.” Keynote addresses included Rebecca Love, MSN, RN, president of the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs and Leaders. With more than 50 concurrent sessions, 30-plus posters on display and 41 exhibitors, the conference offered nurse leaders many opportunities to learn about innovation, a key theme of the day. For non-attendees, on-demand conference content can be purchased through Oct. 9, with access to materials available from Oct. 14 to Nov. 30. For more information, visit AONL’s website.
