AHA podcast features collaboration to reduce Type 2 diabetes

An American Hospital Association podcast featured California’s Monterey County Diabetes Collaborative, which received a 2022 AHA Dick Davidson NOVA Award for reducing Type 2 diabetes. Steven Packer, MD, president and CEO of Montage Health in Monterey, Calif., and Pete Delgado, president and CEO of Salinas (Calif.) Valley Memorial Health Care System discuss their collaboration. The Dick Davidson NOVA Award recognizes programs that help to address the nation’s most pressing health challenges while creating healthier communities and increasing well-being for their neighbors. The application deadline for the 2023 award is Nov. 16.
