Health reform survey affirms public trust in nursing
A recent survey affirms the public’s trust in the nursing profession and extends that trust to the realm of improving the U.S. health care system. The survey of Americans’ values and beliefs about national health insurance reform was conducted by The New York Times, the Commonwealth Fund and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The study was prompted by the public’s growing interest in health insurance reform, which has emerged as a major issue in the 2020 presidential race.
