2025 Conference Policies
Request for an Accommodation
AONL complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and strives to ensure that no individual with a disability is deprived of the opportunity to participate in the program solely by reason of that disability. Through its agents, AONL will provide reasonable accommodations for a candidate with a disability who requests accommodations. Requests can be made by sending a written request 21 days in advance of the program to aonlannualconference@aha.org.
Dietary Restrictions
AONL tries to offer a wide selection of meals throughout the conference to cater to different dietary requirements. If you have a special dietary need, please send a written request 40 days in advance of the meeting to AONL at aonlannualconference@aha.org.
Registration Cancellation
Cancellations can be done online through March 14, 2025. Cancellations submitted on or before 11:59 p.m. CT on March 14, 2025 will be assessed a 20% cancellation fee.
No refunds for in-person conference registration fees will be granted beginning March 15. No refunds will be granted at any time for no-shows. Absolutely no exceptions, no substitutions, and no extensions. This policy stands for all circumstances, including but not limited to personal or company level of comfort to travel. This policy remains in place and applies to your company's regulations including any reassignments given by your company and/or any foreseeable additional travel restrictions/policies implemented by your company. AONL membership and membership renewals are nonrefundable. As such, membership dues included in the nonmember registration are nonrefundable. No refunds will be granted at any time for AONL Foundation donations and ticketed events.
Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status. All fees, except for AONL membership renewals and AONL Foundation donations, are transferable to the substitute less a $50 transfer fee. All registration changes, corrections, substitutions, and/or other updates must be completed by March 14, 2025.
Schedule Changes
AONL reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a program because of an insufficient number of registrations or to close registration when programs are full. AONL may cancel a program without liability due to any cause beyond AONL’s control including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disaster, civil disorders, labor disputes, war, terrorism, infectious disease, curtailment of transportation, unavailability of facilities, illness (based on World Health Organization recommendations), government regulations or any other cause beyond the AONL’s reasonable control which the AONL determines makes it commercially impracticable, inadvisable, impossible, or illegal to host the program or may put participants in harm's way.
Travel Cancellations
AONL shall not be held liable for non-refundable airline tickets or hotel room deposits. AONL suggests that you do not purchase restricted or nonrefundable tickets for travel to the annual conference. AONL assumes no liability for penalties or fare increases should the annual conference sell out or in the unlikely event that changes to the annual conference dates and/or location become necessary. Hotel reservations, cancellations and charges are the attendee’s responsibility.
